Lots of people liked the daytime/toned one so here's the sequal but at night!

Hope this one is just as liked as the others!

On the right side you can see the Gosport Ferry port area, one ferry lies parked there until it is used the next day whilst the one in use is on the Portsmouth dock side picking up people whom have finished their chopping at Gunwharf!

You can also see the Millenium Tower (which is still unfinished!) in the centre, standing tall!

Apparently the public will be able to go on top of it through a lift and see the whole of the sity from the top, if this happens expect a full 360 Panorama from me!

Given 2004-01-10

When mrk submitted his Harbour View shot taken in the daylight I had already enjoyed the shot, the colors, and the overall composition. When he brought us Panorama, Harbourview at night , I figured someone had to see it! Orange is often a color best associated with creativity and stimulation. Orange can be a very appealing color. Introduced in the original daytime photograph and enhanced when re-shot at night, MRK has produced a stellar shot of the beloved harbor. (Featured by `flummox)

Thanks! I used the night mode on my camera (DSC-P72) and set a -3 Exposure value with the white balance set to the bulb mode (keeps the colours conformant which is especially useful for panoramics when stitching) the brightness and contrast was adjusted in PSP8 to give the feel of how it actually was out there today :) I will do another one day when it is foggy for fog simply makes the harbour look stunning!

wow very nice!! just wondering - did you edit up around the tower at the back - looks lower quality than the rest
